Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation

The Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation (HKSSF) is the overarching governing body responsible for organising and promoting interschool sports competitions among primary and secondary students throughout Hong Kong. The Federation coordinates a comprehensive programme of sports events across all 18 districts, administering rules, competition schedules, team registration procedures, and officiating standards across a wide range of disciplines including athletics, swimming, basketball, football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, tennis, cross country running, and more. Working in close collaboration with the Education Bureau, the Hong Kong Olympic Committee, and national sports associations, the HKSSF plays a vital role in nurturing young athletic talent and encouraging students to embrace active, healthy lifestyles. Annual Inter-school Sports Competitions attract thousands of student athletes representing schools from Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories. Through its comprehensive programmes and strong institutional partnerships, the HKSSF is a cornerstone of youth sports development and a champion for student athletic achievement across Hong Kong.
