About Hong Kong Space Museum
The Hong Kong Space Museum is a dedicated science and astronomy museum located on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront alongside the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. Managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), the museum is recognisable by its distinctive white egg-shaped dome, an iconic landmark of the Tsim Sha Tsui skyline. The museum features two main exhibition halls, the Hall of Space Science and the Hall of Astronomy, presenting interactive exhibits on space exploration, the solar system, cosmology, and China contributions to space science. A major highlight is the Space Theatre, one of Asia finest digital planetarium domes, offering immersive sky show screenings. The museum regularly hosts educational programmes, lectures, and public observation events. Easily accessible from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station and the Star Ferry terminal.
