About Hong Kong Wetland Park

Hong Kong Wetland Park is a world-class conservation, education, and ecotourism facility managed by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD), situated at Wetland Park Road in Tin Shui Wai, New Territories. Spanning 61 hectares, the park comprises a Visitor Centre featuring interactive exhibitions and a Wetland Reserve with four distinct habitats: mangroves, stream habitat, freshwater marshes, and a wildlife viewing hide. The park highlights the ecological diversity of Hong Kong's wetlands and advocates for wetland conservation and environmental education. Open daily except Tuesdays, it welcomes visitors of all ages with guided programmes, school curricula, volunteer opportunities, and seasonal wildlife-watching events. The park is easily accessible by MTR to Tin Shui Wai Station followed by a short bus ride.
