About Leisure and Cultural Services Department

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) is a Hong Kong government department responsible for managing public leisure, cultural, and recreational services citywide. LCSD operates and maintains an extensive network of parks, sports grounds, swimming pools, stadiums, public libraries, museums, and performance venues across all 18 districts of Hong Kong. The department organises cultural events including the Hong Kong Pop Culture Festival, Chinese Culture Festival, and Masters Games, alongside regular community sports and recreation programmes. LCSD also provides information and accessible facilities for persons with disabilities. Through its wide-ranging programmes and facilities, LCSD serves millions of Hong Kong residents, promoting a healthy, active, and culturally enriched lifestyle.
