About Victoria Park
Victoria Park is Hong Kong largest urban park, located along the waterfront of Causeway Bay on Hong Kong Island. Spanning approximately 19 hectares, the park is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) and is open daily to the public free of charge. Named after Queen Victoria and established in the 1950s, the park features a wide range of sports and recreational facilities including an Olympic-size swimming pool complex, football pitches, tennis courts, a lawn bowling green, jogging paths, and open event lawns. Victoria Park serves as a major venue for key public events including the annual Lunar New Year Flower Market, the Mid-Autumn Festival lantern wonderland, and community sporting competitions. The park is also a popular gathering spot for morning tai chi practitioners. Located adjacent to Causeway Bay MTR station, Victoria Park is a cherished green space at the heart of Hong Kong life.
